The Irony of It

The flight to Chicago was as pleasant as any flight in economy class and a full plane load could be. Then things went downhill.

Just before our Toronto flight was supposed to leave the gate the captain decided we didn't have enough fuel. It took 20 minutes to get the extra fuel on board. We then taxied to the far end of the airport and waited in line to take off. Just before our turn came up we had a malfunction and had to return to the gate. We had to get off the plane with all our carry-on baggage and wait for the problem to be fixed.

We were 2 hours and 45 minutes late leaving the second time. I noticed the title of the book the woman sitting across the aisle from me was reading. She said it hadn't worked for her.

In Toronto there were problems with our hotel reservation and the WIFI. My patience quota for today is all gone.
