Bird Diner

Splurging on bird seed this summer. The sparrows take a few days to decide that they like a new eatery, but when they do, they become loyal customers and bring the whole clan.

Today we spotted cardinals, American robins, and a species I did not know, who stopped for take-out orders (seeds that the sparrows had knocked to the ground).

They go through the seeds fast, but they are a treat to look at as I have my breakfast.
