Daffodil

In a neighbour's garden. Rather an ususual colour I thought and petals like tissue paper.

I didn't know that it was "daffodil day" until I saw someone else's blip. Posting a daffodil today of all days was pure co-incidence. It's supposed to be for cancer awareness. Not sure if I approve of highjacking a gorgeous flower and making one think of nasty things when one looks at it. That being said there is probably an aspect of this that I hadn't considered. Not very good at understanding why marketers do what they do.

May I add here that I wish everyone afflicted with cancer much hope and that each day has some joy in it regardless of where they are in the battle.
