Newcastle beaches day today.

Today was a beach day. Started at Redhead beach- fantastic beach named after the huge sandstone rocky head at one end. Perfect weather and crystal clear water. Next went to Bar beach for a short stop then off to Newcastle East beach where we had a lovely walk along to the lighthouse. Stopped off on the way home to see the beautiful sunset over Lake Macquarie and saw this egret having an evening paddle. Finished our day with a BBQ.
