Barrier No 3

Down to the Hope today to make sure that our departing guests (Clarissa and Hamish) caught the ferry; especially Hamish as he fairly depleted the supply of Creel HQ malt (mainly the Glendronach).

The man in the hi viz suit had just rowed back from his creel vessel. The car is about to slow down to take the sharp right hand bend which will take it onto Glimps Holm. Burray is in the background.

Returned to CC HQ to cut the grass and plant out some perennials bought at the Evie School Ha' plant sale. Got caught in a very heavy shower whilst cutting the grass. CMC got introduced some light-hearted banter by telling me that I should have sprinkled a drop of gin on the lawn the night before. She explained that this morning the grass would have been half cut.
