A study in green

Despite the rather pessimistic forecast we decided to walk up Helvellyn today. I was hoping to blip the view from the top but the cloud was so thick I could hardly see my feet. It was quite a relief to get out of the wind and rain when we got down.

This was on our way up from Wythburn. I loved the green shades in the wood but I didnt think a picture would do it justice as the light was so dim. However it came out rather well and the different green shades are quite interesting.
