Nearly sunset
I hankered to go up onto the Port Hills after work. I didn't have a lot of time before sunset but it was enough for my current puttering exercise. I returned with a grin on my face; my sanity and perspective restored.
After months couped up I'm pleased to catch glimpses of why I live where I do. It's only minutes before I can be above the city. Look one way to and there is the Pacific Ocean, look the other and the Southern Alps rise above the Canterbury Plains.
It's hard to choose a blip tonight. As the sun set behind the Alps, the full moon rose from the opposite direction. I blipped both to my hearts content :-)
I liked the tree and tussocks so that's what you get to see.
