This is Us

Cinema trip with Annie today to watch the new One Direction movie. She's a big fan, especially of Harry and Niall and has been excited about this film for a couple of months now. I can't wait to take her to see them next year when they come to Sunderland. I have the tickets for her birthday but she doesn't know yet so is saying 'can i go and see them when I'm a bigger girl?' every now and then.

I too enjoyed the film, nicely made, shows how hard they work but I found myself empathising with their parents, who miss their boys such a lot and feel they've missed out on watching them grow up. Must be me getting old!
