Fame and Fortune

Another busy day in the kitchen. Gingerbread, Tregassick tomato chutney, apricot and walnut relish and this cake.

This is the cake to make my fame and fortune according to the children. It is a choc chip orange drizzle cake and I have to say it's up there as one of the best I've come up with. In fact, I'm so pleased with it I've decided that it isn't going in the book. It's going on my mail order cake site once I've finally finished the book and can concentrate on that instead.

Tomorrow will be the saffron buns I didn't make today and baklava I think.

Very proud Mama today too. No2 son has been made supervisor at his job and he is so thrilled about it :)
