Many a mickle maks a mural

This is Chris Rutterford and his painting in the Tron Kirk. A self funded project, he started it at the beginning of the of the Festival but has to move out this weekend as the Tron closes as a music venue now the Festival is over. There are twelve panels running the full length of the wall and apparently there are eight more to be added to it over the course of the year before it is completed.

I have no idea how he has managed to paint in there when the light is so poor and with live music playing. Although the bar is nice and handy if required. He has a website that you can check out if your interested in his work and his projects.

It's certainly a labour of love although I'm not sure about his dress sense.
