Super tired

Very, very tired today so I am blipping early. I had 2 cups of coffee this morning and it knocked me a little dizzy for ages so slowly wandering around in extreme heat has been the order of the day...ducking for shade and shadows whenever possible.

Took the streetcar/tram to Meterie (sp?) Cemetery first thing. It's not easy to get to but because of amazing luck managed to go and see a little bit of it in under an hour. Couldn't stay in the heat too long as there was nowhere near to get some water. Went to Bubba Gump Shrimp of Forest Gump fame for a light lunch.... they actually play Forest Gump on a loop in that place. There is a huge festival going on here at the moment suddenly it is very busy and lively. Asked the hotel to stay an extra day and got moved to a much smaller room which is still nice but can now hear the neighbours on either side of us. On the plus side nearer the pools! The plan is to leave here early tomorrow and drive to Houston... this was never part of the plan on arriving in the states but it is now beneficial that the second part of the holiday has not been booked as it gives some flexibility.

This blip shows some street jazz musicians they were great so I tipped them in their rapidly filling "tips" jar. They were playing outside St.Louis Cathedral where all the street "psychics" hang out. I promise to blip something colourful tomorrow!
