Cheverny Dogs!

We headed to Cheverny today. The chateau house was not as grand as Chambord and although beautiful and ornate inside it did not capture the boychild's imagination, where as the girlchild wanted to know the story behind the tapestry of The Kidnapping of Helen of Troy! I managed a certain amount before telling her I would have to look up the rest. "On google?" was the response. Ahh the digital generation.

After lunch in the Orangery we rode on the electric cars and boat through the Domain Privee and then headed for the kennels and the Cottage garden. I would love my garden to be like that garden. The chiens, were a bit smelly, but very content with themselves.

We got home in time for more cycling before tea. Our road is a well ridden road! The boychild is now standing up while cycling, shaking stones out of his shoes while cycling, you name it, he is doing it!
