Verbena

I've worked from home today so the blip is a quick blip from the garden.

The verbena is probably the most recent plant to be planted - the Acer doesn't count as it is still in a pot.

I'd previously planted some coreopsis ( bright yellow flowers) and I wanted to plant something to contrast with them.

When planting a garden you should either plant plants that tone together or are a complete contrast.

The coreopsis and verbena look good together.

Typing and drink a gin and tonic with slices of cucumber in it - strangely enough it works - give it a try
