Today's Special: a 2-fer
That's a special two for the price of one blip.
These large maple leaves were at the tip of a branch growing on what I think is a hard maple. The changing colour is nearly purple, the bundle of seeds remain green and are not quite ripe enough to be blown on the wind to settle into the soil. And the rest of the smaller leaves are green too.
I had planned blipping these maple leaves and seeds today... then the challenge of what to do with all these big peaches and the responses from my fellow blippers drove encouraged me to do something with them.
This Peach and Apple Betty/Cobbler/Pandowdy didn't take long to make and only used 4 peaches. It also tastes yummy.
I regret putting a glass of red wine in the photo because it gets lost in the wine red colour of the large leaves. After the blip session that wine went into the evening's Stewed Chicken Thighs in a red pepper & mushroom sauce over steamed brown rice. (Imagine the photo)
So that takes care of a cooked peach photo and the unusual maple leaves .
