Bye bye baby

Ferguson attended his very last day of pre-school laden with gifts & treats. Despite his dropping the cakes pretty much as soon as we stepped out the house, they managed to get there pretty much in one piece.
We also custom wrapped each of Charlotte, Charlotte, Emma & Sophie's little bunches of flowers & stuck their names on. Aaron also got a confectionary treat too.
I did expect Ferguson to get a little teary or at least quivery-lipped, but he didn't. He's so excited about starting school, I think the idea of never being back at preschool gets him closer to that.

I read somewhere recently that Parenthood has very long days but short years I think that statement is so true. As he approaches his 5th birthday & is on the brink of this milestone, I can't believe how quickly time has passed.
