Very Featherful........

...........and obviously the Boss! - strutting around the yard as if it owned the place - and having a go at any of the other occupants who happened to get in the way, whether they be other chickens, ducks, or geese! I don't know a lot about chickens but this one could be a Booted Bantam, which apparently can be termed as a rare species. Most of the other chickens were not what I would call "ordinary" but were speckled, black. white, small, large. or whatever but it struck me that they were all a bit special. The feathers on this ones legs were so long, you couldn't really see it's feet - and there was something about it's bossiness that really made me laugh!

Another lovely sunny morning - Temperature at 61 Deg.F. and a goldeness in the light that looked really Autumnal.
