Electricty has been off all day and supposedly on by 5pm tonight...rumour has it digging the holes for the new poles is proving a HUGE problem and running well over schedule.

However the sun set, candles were lit and thankfully with a log fire and 'cooking with gas and showering by gas' an evening without lights etc would not be a problem.
Power is back but not before water was boiled for the 'hottie bottie' , now tucked up in bed wrapped in pjs...just in case!
