Gerbera and gerbils

I spent ages mucking about with the macro lens and the gerbera yesterday and wasn't happy - still not all that happy with this but it's bright and cheerful. Check it large and see what you think.

I haven't saturated the colours at all, I increased the structure just a little and cropped it. Think I may have come to the conclusion that I am not all that keen on macro photography, so I might sell the lens and buy a new telephoto instead!

Boys are off to Barnsley to watch Town play, they live the high life! Meanwhile, I need to clean out the gerbils - lifestyles of the rich and famous.......
