Colander

Another blast from the past.

This old colander has been in my family, I'm guessing, since the 1940s. It belonged to my grandmother. I well remember it sitting filled with cooked boiled peas; cabbage or turnip when I was young - these were the only veg she ever cooked for Sunday dinner!

It's funny how you keep things and how important they are to you.
