A celebration dinner

Wow what a day! I'm so tired already, need to get to bed but not before I do my blip.

This is the only picture I've taken today ... Our dessert. It was a great hit with our guests tonight who went back for seconds, that always makes me happy.

We had invited a dear friend who recently got engaged and we wanted to get to know his fiancée better before we attended their wedding in October. Had a few other friends who know him well and it made for a very enjoyable evening. I did spend much of today preparing, through the terrific thunderstorms today too.

Shattered now and need bed because its an early start tomorrow. Oh I do like a good pavlova!
