Tools of the trade
It now official. I do not need a hearing aid- well not for five years or so.
This morning I popped up to see the Hearing Specialist, again in spookily quiet hospital, who told me that the inside of my ears looked like a surfers, that would be the swimming then but other than normal ageing everything was fine and dandy.
I also discovered that he was also a photographer so, lo and behold, he's gone and signed up for Blip. Welcome Rod the Fish and thanks for the inspection.
Other events of the day included walking seven miles and swimming for thirty minutes, (there's that surfers ear again) and dropping into Stills to buy a coy of The North by John Bulmer. A really great collection of images taken in the north of England in the sixties. As you would expect a very moving social document and well worth having a look at.
Another photobook to add to the collection.
