Peeking through the mane

Today, I took my camera down to the yard and obviously my pony didn't want to be a model, however the other 2 horses on the yard were more than willing to pose for a few photos. That was until they heard the camera's shutter go off, lets say they were not too sure what to make of that. Anyway I was able to get some lovely portrait shots of the 2 horses, but this photo was a particular favourite of mine. I like the way the hair curls around the eye and gives it a bit of shape and movement, then with the blue of the eye just visible from under the mane adds that little bit extra. It has also come out really clear and detailed which I am pleased about.
