First Fig!

A day of cake-making for Tracy - we have St Peter's Church members coming for afternoon tea tomorrow.
Sophie had a friend for the day, and with Mark went to see the "One Direction" film at the cinema.
Jonathan helped in the garden this morning, even managing to drive Mark's sit-on lawnmower - Jonathan is now big enough to drive it and wants to do more, if Mark lets him loose with "his" toy.
Mark went to the licencing of the new Methodist ministers to the island, Mark and Sian who we knew from theological college - it will be good to make opportunities to work together.
And this evening, once the children were in bed, Mark discovered our first, ripe fig - and there will be more to come!
