What childhood is made of...

Our friends from the UK faced a lengthy delay of 5 hours at the airport today. So they came to our house and we headed to the beach. Where else would we go? Yet another lovely day. An unexpected chance to catch up, lovely early dinner and lots of laughs. The children commandeered an abandoned sandcastle and proceeded to make a stream to the sea. Little matter that the tide was on its way out! ;-)
