Lone Red Leaf
I was heading out to lunch to pursue a lunch blip when I saw this random leaf. It was sitting in the parking lot right next to my car. I was struck by the contrast of the bright red leaf with the dark asphalt surface and pockmarked white line. Here is another angle that shows the leaf and its proximity to my car. I was particularly interested since we are nowhere near fall and these colors are far more common during that time of year. Hmmm, I wonder if fall is coming early this year.
I chose this shot because I like the contrasts mentioned above and because it is a bit different from my typical shot. I also considered posting a landscape, but the choice was clear.
On a side note, I will be off the blip grid for a few days and so expect some back blips.
