Junction of paths

The paths from the Shelf stones section of Bleaklow and the Doctor's gate path over Snake summit meet at this point near Mossy Lea farm on the edge of Glossop.

Standing here all seemed well with the world (for a few minutes) - a Wheatear popped up on the wall to say hello and it made me think about this young bird's world. So far it has probably been no further than the area in this photo soon it will be flying off to Africa - I wonder if it will ever return to this valley. The odds must be against but I hope to see it again one day.
