Peppers

Susan picked up Charlie this morning for his postponed birthday day out and sleep-over; Samuel was spending the afternoon with friends. Fiona and I had a nice lunch then went out to Straiton for a couple of things. When Samuel came back I had paused while making tea to take this photo. He just started telling me about his afternoon and I remarked that I was glad he didn't even deign to pass comment on me photographing vegetables. He just said "Traffic Lights" and carried on. I'm glad he got it.

We're all looking forward to Sadie returning tomorrow. Right now she'll be a couple of hours out of Shanghai, on her way to Dubai for a changeover to Glasgow. Of course we're all going through to meet her.
