Duvet time

So we are going into the family unit Monday!! Happy /scared mama today.
It's great that the boys may be home with us by Wednesday evening but it also mega scary too for the 16 days they've been out of my tummy we haven't really looked after them. Just helped the SCBU staff with them well that's how it feels.

Isaac's NG tube came out this morning thanks to Staff nurse Sandra who has been looking after both boys for the past two days. She didn't see the point of it being there as he's taking a bottle at every feed. He has decided he doesn't like the tommee tippee bottles we have so we have had to go and by some Tesco own brand ones lets hope he likes the cheap bottles.

The boys should be weighed tonight/tomorrow morning hopefully Isaac will have put on the 15 grams to get him to 1.8kg. This is magic number!!

Memory boxes arrived today and they are lovely. Have put the in the newspapers from the day they were born, their scan pics, the bands I had to wear to identify me as the boys mummy. Elliot's box has his first tag, hat and stuff from when he was in the incubator. Haven't got Isaac's yet I think the hospital still have those bits as they came with him from Swansea to Bridgend.

I'm making the most of the boys not being home yet by snuggling up in bed and watching TV uninterrupted and relaxing.
Planning on having a very long soak in the bath tomorrow and Monday morning as I have a feeling long relaxing soaks in the bath whilst having a read will be a thing of the past for a while
