Romeo and Juliet

Day 2. in Verona

We visited Casa di Giulietta, the house where Juliet has lived or is believed to have lived in. Couples in love believe they'll get everlasting love, if they write their names on the wall of the corridor leading to cortyard, or write a letter to Juliet. Or scrub the breast of the statue of Juliet. Or leave locks there.

We visited the Photo Exhibition by Rene Burri, it was great!! A big one and extremely interesting. An addition to this and two operas we liked Igor Mitoraj's sculptures at Castelvecchio, they were amazing! His big bronzed figures were familiar to me thanks to farishta
