Travelling Companion . . .

On the ferry south, this chap wasn't too happy about sharing his cabin with the likes of us! Don't you love the quizzically raised eyebrow?!

Actually the ferry crossing was fine, didn't notice any motion from the weather at all, slept like logs until the alarm at 6am telling us breakfast was being served! Perfect.

On the way south we stopped at Dundee and had a few hours exploring the Discovery, where we came across this naval gentleman. An amazing experience - strangely moving to be on a ship you have heard/read/seen so much about, and to be actually walking around on it. A wonderful museum and interpretation centre, well worth a visit. The bonus was that all the staff were really helpful and friendly!

Our holiday cottage is perfect - right on the beach and has everything we could wish for. It's going to be a home from home! Ollie has already endeared himself with the staff at the local pub!
