A golden (almost) sunset

A day of balloons, flowers, photographs and a lovely lunch with four generations today to celebrate Mum and Dad's Golden Wedding Anniversary. And then the last chance for a Morecambe sunset tonight. We had high hopes as the skies were much clearer than they had been but this was as good as it got before it disappeared behind yet another bank of cloud. It was definitely more golden than it has been on the other two evenings that we've tried to catch it this week, but not for long.
