Enzo the Baker

Westminster

tube station is not the scruffy little District Line stop I used to commute through when it was too wet or cold to ride my bicycle through Hyde Park (meeting the Household Cavalry through the mist on autumn mornings).

A story-filled couple of days in London meeting old friends, making some new ones, teaching, learning, lunching with son T. and enjoying the Lowry and Caulfield exhbitions together. A drink with dear N. who I haven't seen for a decade and half. She has put up with more than she should, but her smile is just as warm and wonderful. And has ended up teaching.

And a sunset over Bredon Hill as the train brought me home.
