I Read A Lot

Evening all.

You'll all be familiar with the expression "when in Rome do as the Romans do ", which seems to be attributed to a variety of sources and has a couple of different interpretations as well.

The parallel to this is "when in Alnwick go to Barter Books"....I mean, doesn't everybody do that?

I got off fairly lightly today, only bought six books and spent less than fifty quid,
