Hey! No touching!
Today we drove up to the town of Sequim, WA, which is on the Olympic Peninsula. We went to the Olympic Game Farm, where you can see different kinds of animals and feed them as you drive in your car. We saw and fed yaks, llamas, bears, emus, fallow deer, elk, and bison. It is rather intimidating to have such large creatures poking their huge heads through a window, looking for bread slices. The bull elk shown here was taller than the car but his antlers restricted his access a bit. But the bull bison would have put his entire bulk inside if he could have. He probably weighed a ton and stood six feet at the shoulder. The words "no more bread" were not in his vocabulary. It was scary but fun and we will definitely be going back again.
