Stop press - Lyra drew a recognisable picture

Whilst the girls love to write and scribble and colour, neither of them has shown much aptitude for producing recognisable masterpieces.

I began to wonder if I'd passed on my complete lack of artistic talent, then today, a glimmer of hope as Lyra produced a cat.

A cat with a very curly tail and a not especially cheerful disposition but a cat none the less.
