Father's Day

For two people who hate being in photos, I think we look pretty snazzy here!

I decided to make brunch for Dad this morning instead of attempting to find a table at a cafe on Father's Day. I made French toast and attempted a fruit compote (it kind of worked?). Unfortunately I think I'm still shaking off the side effects of the infusion, so we had a pretty quiet morning apart from that.

This afternoon we went to a 21st/going away tea party for Megan, a family friend who's about to head off to Leeds on exchange. It's been a year since I left for my exchange (in fact, it's a year tomorrow) and it's crazy how much has happened since then! I'm kind of jealous that she gets to experience all of it - I wish I could do it all again.

So everyone says that their dad is the best dad, but I'm pretty sure my dad is actually the best dad in the world. He puts up with a lot and helps me through everything - I could not have gotten through the last week without him! Happy Father's Day, Dad.
