This is the view of Loch Maree from Glen Docherty.
Apparently Queen Victoria first set eyes on this view in 1877, she wrote in her journal -

Shortly after this you come across the loch, which is grand and romantic

She also wrote - Hardly anyone ever comes here.

Well, when the GWC crowd comes to town, all the hotels and B&B's are fully booked!
