Girasoli

Day 2 in glorious Tuscany. Although a little trite, I simply couldn't resist these sunflowers. So bright and cheerful against that stunning Italian scenery!

Had a lovely day exploring the area, sighing contentedly as every corner we turned revealed yet another gorgeous bell tower, olive grove, vines heavy with dark grapes, or hillsides with umbrella pines.

A lunch "al fresco" outside our cozy little house with fresh, delicious bread, cheese, melon, Parma ham, and of course VINO!

We even managed to find a pharmacy that was open on Sunday, and procured some antibiotics, so I am already feeling much better than yesterday.
