DDW's September Challenge Day 1 : End of summer

I've enjoyed my week south, in the sunshine and the warmth. And wandering through trees and meeting so many great people. But, I had to return home to my dogs and to my island and to the sea which I missed seeing every day. There is a flip side to everything, though at the moment I am a long long way from where I would like to be.

This may not be the end of the summer, but Orkney today is wet and windy and generally grim...
