Life in the old church yet

First ever jazz concert in the normally unused church of our small village. The audience was respectable (about 100) and enthusiastic, the musicians were excellent but in the bare church the acoustics were at times reminiscent of the bottom of a swimming pool. With good cause, the sound guys were worried, as, apparently, was St Antony of Padova.
