Proud of her brother

Today we loaded the bikes back on the back of the car and headed to Marston Moretaine Millennium Forest Centre. We have been there before but usually when it is cold and sometimes wet, so the sunshine was a nice change. What was also a change was that this was the first time we have taken the bikes and the first time that W has ridden on a family bike ride rather than ridden pillion on my bike.

We set off round the lake and did a figure of eight route that was just over five miles long. Ok so it was slow going at time (13min miling) but a little bike with no gears and a three year olds legs can only go so fast. He was up to 10min miling by the end. Very proud of himself.

Bikes securely back on the car we headed to the café for lunch and the kids played nicely together in the play area.
