back door barbie

A poor day. Grey, cool & very windy. Windy, as in 20mph plus (say 34 kph).

I couldn't motivate myself to do any gardening, cycling or walking in that. Fresh air & exercise is always good, but sometimes it has to be fun as well.

I'd invited my son over for a barbecue dinner. Too cool to sit outside, but to my surprise I was able to get the charcoal lit despite the wind. We ate inside. Very Scottish. Some organic lamb burgers & home made beef burgers, some chorizo and corn on the cob. Potatoes too.

Nice gossip about ice hockey and politics. Highlight of the day.
