Kilchurn Castle, early morning

There are in Argyll a few views of which I would like to make the definitive photograph. Kilchurn Castle is one of them. Another is Castle Stalker. I photograph them both with great regularity. One day I’ll get it with fantastic light and even a rainbow, no pylons and perhaps a small colourful boat at the jetty. But for now, this is it, early in the morning as we started for home.

Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe was built around 1450 by Sir Colin Campbell, first Lord of Glenorchy.
