Welcome to the Lake District

This is the view from my bedroom window at Fern Howe, home of Lakeland Photographic Holidays. I arrived at 4pm, following a slight delay when I had to drive towards home when I realised I'd left my boots there! Mum kindly drove out to meet me on the Military Road.

It has been all go from the first moment. There are 8 of us in the group and we are studying black and white landscape photography. We ate a lovely meal this evening and then had another talk from John Gravett (What I have done)
