Walking back from the dentist

I managed to break a tooth whilst eating a piece of melon - don't ask - and had an emergency appointment for a filling today. All went well and as I walked back through Saltaire to my side of the river I just thought how lucky I was to have these amazing buildings and views to gaze upon while doing something as mundane as a trip to the dentist.

Sure beats the walk I would have had in Ashford but to be honest I used to drive as the roads were so busy it wasn't a pleasant walk.

Back to work tomorrow - bit of a shock to the system after so many weeks. At least most of this week is taken up with training which I usually enjoy.

Good luck to all you teachers and associated school/college/university staff out there in blip land with the new academic year. Let us pray the government doesn't fiddle too much this year and that all Ofsted visits are cancelled!!!!!!
