Windows on the West

This is one of favourite paintings, with this print on the wall in our front room. It just captures the feeling of a snowy night in the west end of Glasgow perfectly. Avril Paton, the artist, has captured the light beautifully. I can almost feel myself there, in that light, with the snow crunching gently underfoot, and a wet smell in the air.
