Towelgate

I ventured into the eldest's room today to collect the towels from the floor. I got 22! Usually I don't go on there, she's 19, it's her space etc but we needed the towels back. I mentioned it on FB and got mainly sympathy but the usual 'you don't know messy til you see my teens room' Hog swill, your teen would throw up if they went anywhere near this hovel. The worst was a child free friend in America telling me I should tell her to leave, that he wouldn't put up with it...what does he know. I'm sick of being the wicked step mother waging the 100 years war, it's tiring, it's upsetting and I want it to end
