Coyote Watch

We paddled down the Deschutes between the La Pine State Park and the General Patch Bridge today.

I lack the words to describe the beauty and the fun we shared along the way.

Among the many wild critters who noted our passage, this young coyote captured my heart.

It appeared to me, from his demeanor, that he thought floating down the river was a very cool thing to be doing.

I had to agree with him.
