OLD FAITHFUL

This old Massey Ferguson has seen better days but this could be the high point of it's career - Farmer John from across the valley lends it to me all summer for log-splitting ( it speeds up the charcoal kiln loading process ) and in the winter he has it back to do the daily muck sweep in the covered cowyard.

It's far cleaner work preparing wood for the kiln than cleaning up after the cows so I get the feeling it's allegiances have switched to this side of the valley.
