eu não sei voar

After an early breakfast this morning, we headed over to our pirogues and started our trip down the Tsiribihina river. I was expecting much more discomfort - the piroguiers had created little seats for us using our backpacks and a camping mat over it. Was slightly worried about the risk of capsizing as I had been told the river is full of crocodiles!!

We stopped at a small village for lunch. The kids here, like in all the villages we stopped at, were desperate to get their photograph taken so they could see themselves. It was pretty amazing. I found this girl really beautiful but she kept making negative remarks about her hair. I think her hair is really lovely however, so she's made it to today's blip :)
